Grade B16 is supplied under ASTM A193 with chemistry, heat treatment, mechanical properties, testing, and marking controlled by the standard.

Diameter, thread form, length, coating, supplementary testing, and certification requirements should be defined with the inquiry.

Purchase to the controlling ASTM, SAE, AMS, or customer specification. Section size, supply condition, mechanical properties, surface limits, testing, and heat/lot traceability can change the acceptable material and processing route.
