Steel Bar for Production
Ohio Bar & Metal is the round bar division of Premium Steel Sales LLC. We distribute carbon, alloy, free-machining, spring, bearing, and ASTM grades for machining, forging, heat treatment, and industrial production. Product forms include round bar, square bar, hex bar, and wire rod.
Supply conditions include hot rolled, cold finished, annealed, quenched and tempered, and turned and polished. Availability is checked against the governing specification, section size, condition, quantity, processing, testing, and delivery schedule.
Common Grade Ranges
Frequently sourced production grades include 1045 carbon steel round bar, 1144 free-machining round bar, 12L14 round bar, 1541 high-manganese round bar, 4140 alloy steel round bar, and 4340 alloy steel round bar.
Broader ranges include 1008–1095, 1117–1146, 1213–12L14, 1518–1552, 4118–4150, 4320–4820, 5115–6150, 8615–9840, and selected ASTM bolting, forging, and anchor specifications. Other SAE, ASTM, AMS, and customer-specific requirements can be reviewed from the full specification.
